Natural Boarding in Middle Tennessee
What IS natural boarding?  At its best, natural boarding means 24/7 turnout on varied terrain, with shelter provided (preferably a run-in shed or at least a wooded area), in a compatible group of horses.  Free-choice grass hay should be offered, and a low-carb/non-grain feed (such as ration balancers, beet pulp and oil, flax-based fat supplements, black oil sunflower seeds, etc.) should be an option (or the barn should permit the owner to provide their own).  For an example of what natural boarding means to me, click here for my own Blue Heron Farm near Spring Hill, TN.
Note: I do not have first-hand knowledge of most of the facilities listed below.  I am listing them because the managers offer 24/7 turnout and have expressed some degree of  willingness to work with people wanting natural boarding.  It is up to YOU to find out if a boarding establishment is right for you.  I would appreciate feedback on the facilities listed below if you have any (positive or negative), as it is very helpful to me to know what is out there.

If you would like to have your facility added to the list, please
email me with information about your facility, contact information, website etc.
