Welcome to Blue Heron Far m

Blue Heron Farm is my own little piece of paradise. Located in the-middle-of-nowhere (which is the best place to be!), in a weather-protected "holler" in the hills of Tennessee, Blue Heron is a world unto itself.  Sulphur Spring Branch snakes throughout the property, which is hilly and rocky, and full of natural beauty. We regularly see racoons, deer, foxes, snakes, bluebirds, and our signature bird, the Great Blue Heron.

Blue Heron Farm offers natural boarding for a few select horses.  Details on what is involved in providing a natural lifestyle for horses HERE.  We provide 24/7 turnout with plenty of grass hay, a feeding program as low in carbs as possible and tailored to the individual horse, and twice daily checks of all horses in our care.  Hoofcare provided at a reduced rate for boarders by Hoofmaiden Hoof Care.  We prefer barefoot horses, but will consider those with front shoes only.  No back shoes.
